Fiona Duncan on shmuFM Sports
Although it's unlucky for some the shmuFM Sports Show will host a very inspiring guest on Friday the 13th of May.
PC Fiona Duncan took up the sport of cycling in 2003. In 2008 she was part of the Great Britain's Police Women’s Team who took silver at the European Championships.
Fiona was introduced to tandem cycling by Neil Fachie MBE in 2010, winning a silver medal that year teaming with Lora Turnham as Lora’s sighted pilot at the World Championships. She followed that up by winning the World Cup in Para-Cycling time trial in 2012.
This all led to Fiona pulling on the GB top one more time and representing Great Britain at the 2012 Paralympic games.
So stick Friday the 13th of May in your diary as the shmuFM Sports Show with The Sandman presents Paralympian Fiona Duncan.
You can listen live between 2 and 3pm on shmu 99.8FM or online.
We want to hear from you! Whether you have news, views or are keen to be involved in shmuFM.
