Middlefield Matters returns to schedule

shmuFM's Middlefield community show, Middlefield Matters, makes a welcome return to a regular Thursday slot beginning on 13th March.  The show, hosted by Middlefield residents - Gail, Kayleigh and Kelly, will now broadcast from 1-2pm every Thursday afternoon.

New Sci-Fi show lands on Saturday

The Sci-Fi Show joins the shmuFM schedule this Saturday at 1pm, when presenter - and avid Sci-Fi fan - Greg Swan will be your expert guide to all manner of geekery...

The Sci-Fi Show will feature all the latest on comics, TV, film and future tech - and great music too! - and launches at 1pm on Saturday 22nd February.

A new specialist music show joins the shmuFM schedule this week, with a focus on little-known or forgotten tracks by artists you might have missed...

Aron Smith AKA Brutha Voodoo launches his Playlist Obscura at 8pm on Tuesday 18th February, and promises to bring something a little different to Aberdeen's airwaves.

YRP Special Report on Holocaust Memorial Day

Young presenters from Station House Media Unit (shmu) aired a special report on shmuFM to mark Holocaust Memorial Day.  Megan Rollo (16) and Yvannah Gonzalez (16) visited Auschwitz as part of a school project and decided to make a special feature from their experiences on their journey.

One of shmu’s Youth Radio Project (YRP) team, Emily Howie has turned her hand to painting, as well as producing and presenting YRP shows. Emily is 14 and has been working with shmu since August last year.
